Established in 1949, GIFFIN provides turnkey integrated process finishing solutions, including building construction and conveying systems for new and existing manufacturing facilities.

Leading the industry in quality, safety and customer satisfaction, GIFFIN is a full service system supplier to a variety of industries. Manufacturing sectors include Automotive, Aerospace, General Industries, Heavy & Light Duty Truck, Tier Suppliers and US Government. GIFFIN has earned a reputation for producing and installing quality systems, on schedule and within budget. 

From our newly renovated U.S. headquarters, located in Auburn Hills, Michigan, GIFFIN continues to offer a variety of products and services to suit our growing customer base. Our experienced engineering staff will ensure that the latest technology and best practices of industrial systems are included in the design of our customer’s facilities. This may include adding a specific piece of new equipment within an existing facility, modernizing obsolete production lines, or providing an entire industrial system process, including buildings and conveying systems.

1980

  • GIFFIN Established In United States: December 1980 (Southfield, MI).
  • First Large Automotive Contract in USA at GM Framingham.

1985

  • GIFFIN relocates to Farmington, MI facility; which includes an 80,000 Sq. Ft. fabrication shop.

1993

  • GIFFIN receives order for major program at Ford St. Louis

1999

  • Based On An Independent Audit, GIFFIN is QS 9000, TE-Supplement, and R & M Compliant

2000

  • GIFFIN establishes Sales, Engineering, Estimating, and Project Management office in Mexico.
  • GIFFIN receives Q1 Award from Ford Motor Company.

2006

  • GM selects GIFFIN for a new Greenfield paintshop in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

2008

  • Boeing selects GIFFIN for Greenfield Metal Treatment Facility in Gresham, Oregon; which includes LEED Gold Accreditation.

2010

  • GIFFIN relocates corporate headquarters to Auburn Hills, MI; doubling office and manufacturing capacity.
  • GIFFIN awarded Aerospace program by Rolls Royce for TWO turnkey Jet Turbine Disc Metal Treatment Lines.

2012

  • Chrysler selects GIFFIN for turnkey Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, UF Paint Shop program.

2014

  • GIFFIN receives turnkey order for New Topcoat Paint Shop from Continental Structural Plastics

2015

  • GIFFIN receives order to install Shallow ELITE Scrubbing Technology for Kenworth in Mexicali, MX.

2016

  • GIFFIN receives order for turnkey Paint Shop from SMR in San Luis Potosi, MX.
  • GIFFIN receives order for turnkey Paint Shop from Magna Mirrors in Monterrey, MX.

2017

  • GIFFIN announced 2017 PACE Award winner for ELITE wet scrubbing technology.

2018

  • GIFFIN receives order from Continental Structural Plastics for turnkey Topcoat Paint Shop in North Baltimore, OH

2019

  • GIFFIN Receives Order from Stellantis for the Detroit Assembly Complex – Mack, New Paint Shop Project in Detroit, MI for the New Grand Cherokee.
  • GIFFIN Receives Order from Stellantis the WTAP New Paint Shop Project in Warren, MI for the New Grand Wagoneer.
  • GIFFIN Completes New 100,000-square-foot manufacturing center at the Auburn Hills HQ Campus.
  • GIFFIN Receives Award from Stellantis for the 2019 Supplier of the Year!
